"In Hikara Square, in addition to familiar brands, a new brand seems to be emerging. This is Empery. While focusing on sports casual, it is a new generation of street fashion brand that combines various cultures such as art and music," Nintendo wrote along with an image showcasing Empery clothing.

More "Splatoon 2" clothing brands are expected to be announced soon. Prior to the Empery reveal, however, Nintendo also detailed another fashion-related addition in the game. "It seems that the trend of gear has changed a bit during the last two years. A sporty classic model also makes it easier to fit more casual attire by changing the material and color. Suede sneakers with elegant taste but pop, seems to fit easily with beautiful Corde," the company tweeted out.

"Splatoon 2" is set for release this summer on the Nintendo Switch. Those who own the console will get the chance to participate in an upcoming Global Testfire.

There will be a total of six one-hour sessions (to be detailed below in Pacific Time) spread across three days. It will kick off on March 24, with the first one at 12 to 12:59 p.m. PT and the second one starting at 8 p.m.

The following day, March 25, players will get three chances to try "Splatoon 2." The first session will be as early as 4 a.m. and will be followed by a 12 to 12:59 p.m. session. For those who miss both, they can go for the 8 to 8:59 p.m. run. The "Splatoon 2" Global Testfire will wrap up on March 26 with a 4 to 4:59 a.m. session.

During the event, participants will get to try four different main weapons including the Splat Dualies and the remixed versions of the Splat Roller and Splat Charger.
