Nintendo has been announcing the free "Splatoon 2" demo event since last month. IGN makes a few notes on the conditions for the demo, however. The players will be restricted to six one-hour sessions that consist of several rounds of four-versus-four multiplayer matches. In addition, the event will last for just three days, and all the rounds will take place on only two playable maps for the duration of the demo event.

Nintendo Switch owners are now given the option to predownload the demo ahead of the event's launch on March 24. With the game demo weighing at just 408 MB, it would not take up much of the space in the 32 GB built-in memory of the Nintendo Switch, according to the International Business Times.
