St. Louis Blues vs Chicago Blackhawks live stream, start time: Watch NHL Playoffs online
Blues lead series 1-0.
In one of the more intriguing series matchups in the playoffs, the Chicago Blackhawks and St. Louis Blues play Game 2 at the Scottrade Center in the National Hockey League.
The matchup is on April 15, 2016 at 8:00 PM ET.
It's a great battle between the Central Division rivals in the Western Conference as the Blues find themselves second in the standings, while the Blackhawks are third.
These two teams finished neck and neck at the end of the regular season, with the Blues finishing the season with 107 points after 49 wins in the season.
The Blackhawks are at 103 points and won 47 games in the regular campaign.
And to show just how close the two teams are, their first game resulted in only one goal during overtime to determine who took the first lead of the series.
Both teams were excellent in the defensive end as they stopped attacks from both teams.
For Chicago, Marian Hossa shot five times during the night but failed to beat the defences of the Blues, while Patrick Kane was only able to take four shots through the night as he was marked for the time he was on the ice.
Playing over 22 minutes on the night, Kane had a very tough evening and was checked by defences which rendered him ineffective for the first game.
On the other hand, the Blackhawks did well on the defensive end as they also hindered the Blues from taking too many shots as not one player from St. Louis had more than three shots for the whole evening.
Unfortunately, David Backes finally beat the Blackhawks' defence in the 9:04 mark of the overtime period to get the win and the 1-0 series lead.
Look for the Blackhawks to try and bounce back and take a win on the road to have a tie series heading into their home matchups.
