St Louis Cardinals vs Los Angeles Dodgers Live Stream Free: Watch Online NLCS Game 5 MLB 2013 Playoffs (Start Time, TBS TV Info)
St Louis Cardinals will take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 5 of the NLCS on Wednesday afternoon, with the Cardinals now having the chance to claim the series and take one of the coveted World Series spots. The game will start at 4.07 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
The Cardinals come into this game 3-1 up and need one more win to earn their place in the World Series. The Dodgers had seemed to have gotten themselves back into the seven-game series in Game 3 by claiming their first win. However, the Cardinals fought back well in Game 4 and claimed a 4-2 win to go 3-1 ahead in the series.
If the Cardinals win any of the next three games they will claim the franchise's 19th pennant. They will hope to win and finish things today, however, even if they are unable to, the series will move back to St Louis for Games 6 and 7, meaning they will only have to win one of those two home games to claim the pennant.
Game 5 will be a rematch of Game 1, with Joe Kelly and Zack Greinke set to feature. Fans will remember that game 1 was an immense encounter, with both pitchers allowing two runs. The game eventually went 13 innings before the Cardinals claimed the opening game win.
That was the second postseason start in 2013 that Kelly has given up two runs, having previously done so against the Pirates in the NLDS. Kelly has a career postseason ERA of 2.84 having worked as a reliever in the 2012 playoffs for St. Louis.
Greinke in this year's postseason has allowed just four runs in 14 total innings. In 2013, he made 28 starts with a 2.63 ERA and 1.11 WHIP.
