St Louis Cardinals vs San Francisco Giants Live Stream MLB: Watch Online NLCS Playoffs Game 2 (8PM ET)

The St Louis Cardinals and the San Francisco Giants will face off on Monday night in Game 2 of the NLCS playoffs with the Cardinals looking to take a two game lead on the road before heading home to continue in Game 3. The game is scheduled to start at 8.07 p.m. ET and can be watched on Fox or online through live stream through one of the two packages listed below.

The Cardinals won Game 1 on Sunday night by beating the Giants 6-4 with home runs coming from David Freese and Carlos Beltran.

Beltran in particular has been immense in the postseason and he has been able to dominate the pitchers he has come up against. Historically Beltran has been one of the greatest performers on the postseason stage, hitting .370 with 14 home runs and 25 runs batted in across 29 postseason games.

The Cardinals are the top run scorers in the postseason so far, scoring an impressive 44 runs across their seven games to date. That's a massive 18 more than the Detroit Tigers - the second highest scoring team.

If the Giants cannot find away to keep the big guns of St Louis quiet then this series could be over quickly.

The Giants will be looking to Ryan Vogelsong to take on the Cardinals' offense. He started one game earlier this year against the Cardinals where he did not let through any runs, so San Francisco will be hoping he can repeat that feat tonight. Vogelsong was also impressive against Cincinnati in the NLDS where he pitched five scoreless innings.

Meanwhile the Cardinals will start with Chris Carpenter on the mound. Carpenter is a big postseason player for the Cardinals and has a record of 10-2 for St Louis with a 2.88 ERA in 16 postseason starts.

Both of these two teams are packed with talent holding extensive experience of the postseason - the Giants and Cardinals won the 2010 and the 2011 World Series respectively.

Game 2 of the National League Championship Series between the St Louis Cardinals and the San Francisco Giants will start at 8.07 p.m. ET on Fox.
