St Patrick's Day 2013 Parade NYC Live Stream: Watch Online NBC Info, Route Map, Time, Schedule Details

The St Patrick's Day parade takes place in New York City on Saturday March 16 and will see thousands coming out to join the festivities. The parade is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. on 5th Avenue around 44th Street, with the entire parade available to watch online through free live stream (details below).

This year's parade has a route that will see the procession march up 5th Avenue past St Patrick's Cathedral at 50th Street and continue on all the way to 79th Street, where it will finish at around 4.30 to 5.00 p.m. ET.

To avoid the crowds below 59th Street, the Viewing Committee has advised that the best viewing spots are anywhere north of 66th Street and Fifth Avenue.

The upper steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art also should provide a great view, where viewers can get a close-up look at the marchers around 86th Street where the parade route ends. It has also been advised that some of the best viewing spots will be along the north end of the parade route.

The 69th Regiment of New York, 1st Battalion, will march along with Grand Marshal Alfred E. Smith IV, as well as New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and other dignitaries. For a full list of the line up for the march, click here.
