Stacie Halas, Porn Star Teacher, Deemed Unfit for Classroom (VIDEO)
Stacie Halas was deemed as unfit for a classroom following an appeals court decision which took into account her previous career in pornography.
Halas, 32, was fired from her position as a science teacher at Haydock Intermediate School in April. The decision was made after students and teachers at the California school uncovered pictures and videos of Halas, partaking in pornographic acts.
The teacher later admitted that she had undertaken a 9-month career in adult videos before becoming a teacher.

Teachers had provided evidence of the pornographic videos to school officials. School superintendent Jeff Chancer did not support Halas' plea to remain a teacher.
Halas' decision to "engage in pornography was incompatible with her responsibilities as a role model for students and would present an insurmountable, recurring disruption to our schools should she be allowed to remain as a teacher," Chancer said in a statement to the Associated Press.
On Tuesday, a panel composed of three judges ruled unanimously that Halas was unfit for a classroom.
"Although (Halas') pornography career has concluded, the ongoing availability of her pornographic materials on the Internet will continue to impede her from being an effective teacher and respected colleague," Judge Julie Cabos-Owen wrote in a decision composed by the Commission on Professional Competence.
Halas did not appear in any adult videos during her time as a teacher, but students had already begun to harass after coming across her past. Teacher's testified that students had begun to write profane things on the teacher's belongings, according to the Associated Press.
Some people outside of the school were more sympathetic.
"I understand their concern...but she was bettering her life, moving forward," one user wrote on the Huffington Post blog. "I don't think it's right for her to be punished for this. I hope she continues her education and maybe she could move and teach somewhere else. Maybe she could teach adults..or an online class. I feel bad for her."
