'Star Wars: Battlefront 2' Beta PC Specs Requirements Released By EA
The long wait for the beta period of "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" will finally begin for PC players next week, which led EA Games to release the requirements for those who are joining the beta game.
As posted on the upcoming game's forum page, the open beta for "Star Wars Battlefront 2" will begin on Oct. 6, but those who managed to pre-order the game until Sept. 30 can start testing its features on Wednesday, Oct. 4. The test will run until Oct. 9.
The beta will start at exactly 4 a.m. EDT for both the early access and regular players, while it will end at 12 p.m. EDT the following week.
Those who will join the beta program on PC needs to have at least a 64-bit Windows 7 SPI operating system, but it can go as high as a Windows 8.1 or a 64-bit Windows 10 for maximum gaming experience.
The PC should also have at least an AMD FX-6350 or an Intel Core i5 6600K for minimum processor speed, or as high as AMD FX 8350 Wraith or Intel Core i7 6700 or equivalent for the fastest gaming speed.
The internal memory should be at least 8 GB or 16 GB with a hard-drive space of 15 GB. As for the graphics card, those who are using AMD must have a Radeon HD 7850 2 GB or Radeon RX 480 4 GB. On the other hand, those who have NVIDIA graphics card must have an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2 GB or an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3 GB.
The beta also has an online connection requirement that needs at least a 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection.
The fourth major installment of the "Star Wars: Battlefront" video game franchise is slated to be released in the market on Friday, Nov. 17. Aside from its PC edition, the "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" will also be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
