'Star Wars: Battlefront 2' News: Beta Details on Maps, Vehicles and More Leaked
Some of the well-kept details about the highly anticipated beta for "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" have found their way online.
The information comes courtesy of the Redditor, Some_Info, who demonstrated his/her credibility time and again by providing details about the game that prove to be accurate.
It was the same Reddit user who supplied correct information about the Closed Alpha and space battles mode in "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" prior to the official announcements at the EA Play and Gamescom, respectively.

Now, the leakster is at it again, revealing that the beta test for "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" will feature three maps. First is the Galactic Assault on Theed that can accommodate 40 players. The second map is Space Battles on Fondor that can have room for 24 players and the third one is Strike on Takodana.
The Skirmish offline mode will be called Arcade "or something like that," per the leakster. It will include solo, split and co-op gameplay featuring up to two players.
The Heroes to expect are the ones featured at EA Play while the "surprise vehicle" will be the Low Altitude Assault Transport or LAAT. The leakster said that "it will go round and round like the U-Wing from Scarif."
The "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" beta will also come with five to nine emotes for soldiers although it is unclear if there will be emotes for heroes. More on the gameplay, players will be able to earn credit and collect cards for the troopers, but it will be lost by the end of the beta.
On the technical side of things, the graphics in the beta will come with "a little improvement" over the one featured at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), which is saying something considering that already looked good. The download size will be around 14 to 16 GB with the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
The "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" beta will take place in October. The game will be out Nov. 17.
