'Star Wars: Battlefront' Releases New Trailer With Iconic Heroes & Villains

The new trailer of "Star Wars: Battlefront" released at the Paris Games Week showcased a lot of first-person gunplay with the iconic heroes and villains of "Star Wars" – Hans Solo, Boba Fett, Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine, and of course, Luke Skywalker.

Gamers know that the launch of "Star Wars: Battlefront" is only a few weeks away. As many as 9 million players have already had the opportunity to experience the game through the "Star Wars: Battlefront" Open Beta where they learned how the game will play out. Some of them already know the glitches to be encountered. Hence gamers were not expecting anything new about the "Star Wars: Battlefront" trailer that would be launched at the Paris Games Week. But all were surprised with what the trailer revealed.

The trailer showed the heroes and villains such as Princess Leia giving orders and having a fighting sequence with Boba Fett, who is shown dodging the Sarlacc Pit. Han Solo has an exciting duel using his blaster against Darth Vader with his usual red lightsaber. Darth Vader's entry in the trailer is smashing as he cuts across the screen with his weapon of choice.

Luke Skywalker will have more of a good versus evil mental battle with the evil Emperor Palpatine. It will be one of the main fight sequences leading to an epic showdown between the two.

EA has claimed that the Star Wars Battlefront beta was a huge success, but it admitted that lots of glitches had to be sorted out. According to Star Wars Battlefront Community Manager Matthew Everett, the goal of the Beta was to test the technical aspects of the game and if issues exist, they will be tweaked and sorted out soon.

Star Wars Battlefront will release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC on Nov. 17.
