'Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi' Release Date, News: Film Is Gearing to Be Monumental in Many Ways
There is a lot of excitement brewing over the latest installment of the Star Wars saga, and people are wanting more every single day. If there is anything certain, it is that the film is going to be a great addition to the long-standing series in science fiction.
It can be recalled that journalist Hannah Sampson tweeted that Walt Disney CEO Bob Iger has seen parts of "Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi," and he was positively enthusiastic about it. He mentioned it was "a great next chapter in the iconic Skywalker family saga," thus fans can very much look forward to it.
Iger shared this observation during an earnings call held last week. Although one cannot expect that he'll say anything negative about the movie, knowing that he himself is impressed and chose such eloquent words would mean a lot to the fans of the movie. Aside from that, the equally legendary John Williams has begun scoring the film. He is the one responsible for creating nostalgically memorable tunes to the whole Star Wars franchise, which has gotten audiences humming the soundtrack of the movie, creating recall for all. It will be interesting to see how he continues his work on the eighth installment, and this is something fans will be looking forward to.
Although unfortunate and unintentional, Carrie Fisher's passing is sure to make the film an even bigger spectacle when it comes out. Fisher, who plays General Leia Organa, has finished shooting for "Episode VIII." It will be a sure thing that after the movie debuts on the silver screen, the theaters will either be filled with applause or tears.
It seems only yesterday that the official title for the eighth film was unveiled, and it has been the topic of discussions since then. "Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi" brings back the force on Dec. 15, 2017.
