Rey's last name

"Obviously it's not for me to talk about in this moment because this is Rian [Johnson]'s story to continue now," Mashable quotes Abrams as telling reporters at the Television Critics Association press tour Tuesday. "The last thing I'm going to do is reveal something that he would be upset about. I want to make sure that Rian gets the courtesy he had showed me."

A reporter asked a follow-up question stating it must be hard to sit on such a big secret for too long, but Abrams brushed off the query with humor. "Uh, not for me," he said, as reporters laughed in response.

"A Princess on Lothal"

Meanwhile, Lucasfilm has announced that Princess Leia Organa will be making an appearance in the animated TV series "Star Wars Rebels." She will make her debut as a young princess on Wednesday in an episode titled "A Princess on Lothal."

In the episode, Leia is portrayed as a young leader who is on her way to becoming the strong character that audiences see in "Star Wars: A New Hope." At this point in time, however, the princess is still part of the Empire, although she doesn't believe in it but acts the part almost as a double agent. The Empire, on its part, sees her as a privileged princess running mercy missions to wayward worlds. Only later will the Empire find out how much stronger and dangerous the princess is.

This will be Leia's only episode of the season. She will be voiced by Julie Dolan, who also lent her voice to the Rebel leader in Disney's Star Tours attraction.

The clip above shows the princess with Kanan and Ezra who have dressed up as stormtroopers.

"Star Wars: Rebels" focuses on the small, rebel cell group of six members who are standing up against the Imperial garrison on planet Lothal.

"A Princess on Lothal" will air on Jan. 20 at 9 p.m. on Disney XD.
