'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' Cast: First Trailer Coming Next Week?
"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" is not due to come out until the end of the year, but there is definitely no shortage of anticipation among fans. The first official trailer has yet to be released, but there is reason to believe that it will be unveiled at the upcoming "Star Wars Celebration" in Orlando.
According to MovieWeb, "The Star Wars Show" hosts Andi Gutierrez and Anthony Carboni teased that exciting things await at the "Star Wars Celebration," which means fans should do what they can to attend or tune in. And while they did not reveal any specifics, the general assumption is that the first trailer for "The Last Jedi" will be shown at the event.
It remains to be seen if any cast members will appear at the event, but it has been announced that there will be some "special guests," along with Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy and "The Last Jedi" director Rian Johnson.
Speaking of cast members, MakingStarWars.net previously revealed that Justin Theroux will be making an appearance in "The Last Jedi," although a confirmation has yet to be made. Jennifer Aniston's husband will reportedly be portraying "an expert slicer," who is a key role in the film.
It has also been rumored that Yoda will be back in the upcoming sequel. Frank Oz, the man who brought the green Jedi master to life, played coy when he was previously asked about his involvement in "The Last Jedi," saying that he was not allowed to talk about it.
In other news, the script for "Star Wars: Episode 9" has apparently been drafted already, which means they are one step closer to a finished one. Episode 9 has yet to be given a title, and it looks like fans will not know for a long time--especially considering how long it took for them to reveal "The Last Jedi." The final installment in the new trilogy will premiere in 2019.
"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" will hit U.S. theaters on Dec. 15.
