'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' Spoilers: Actress Hints at Possible Emotional Reaction to Revelation of Rey's Parentage

While she obviously could not reveal the truth during the interview as secrecy rules in "Star Wars" are very strict, the actress did tease that the reveal will be a touching scene in the movie.

"Whatever the answer is, I hope everyone will enjoy that moment," she told the outlet. "I knew the answer a few years ago, but the story that Rian Johnson created was so wonderful I couldn't believe it, honestly I was very moved. I think that everyone will be in that moment," the actress added.

Meanwhile, Adam Driver, who plays Kylo Ren, recently spoke to GQ Magazine and may have hinted something about Rey's identity.

In the interview, he talked about how his character is pretending to be someone he is not. "He's a vulnerable kid who doesn't know where to put his energy, but when he puts his mask on, suddenly, he's playing a role," he said.

In addition, he told the publication, "You have, also, the hidden identity of this princess who's hiding who she really is so she can survive and Kylo Ren and her hiding behind these artifices."

Could he be referring to Rey when he said "princess?" Does she have somewhat of a royal origin?

Other fan theories surrounding her parentage include her being the daughter of Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) or the evil Emperor Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid).

Whatever the truth might be, fans will soon find out when "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" opens in cinemas on Dec. 15.
