'Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens' plot news: Secrecy with Disney

With much hype about the upcoming "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens," actor of the film recently spoke about the secrecy toward details of the film.

It was reported that Anthony Daniels, who portrayed C-3PO in the upcoming film, spoke to The Week UK about the lack of details toward the installment. He explained that it was Disney that kept pushing for details of the movie to remain secret.

Daniels stated that when he received the script for the film, the font was black, but the paper was dark red, which will prevent it from being photocopied. He even mentioned that the studio had reprimanded him on a tweet that revealed information about the film. He said, "I said that I'd met so-and-so. An actor who plays a … thing in the film. A character. Immediately I received a message from Disney: 'Remove the tweet! You're not allowed to say that!' Honestly. It's a kind of Kremlin attitude. Look, I know perfectly well not to tell you now what I'm giving you for a Christmas present because it would spoil the surprise. And these films are all about opening the box on Christmas Day."

However, recent news have been speculating about the film's plot. It was rumored that from the recent teaser, it was revealed that the story will only have one Jedi. This was due to Kylo Ren's line about destroying the last Jedi. Meanwhile, it was stated that the term "Jedi" is already plural form, which means that it referred to the last group of Jedi. Kylo Ren will be portrayed by Adam Driver. While it was reported that his character is not a Sith, he is an avid follower of Darth Vader.

"Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" is expected to premiere in December.
