Steam Spring Sale 2017: Half Off on 'Midweek Madness' Offers
Though the digital distribution platform Steam is yet to announce their much awaited Spring Sale for 2017, they have recently announced some great news with their Midweek Madness deals that can get players as much as a 75 percent discount.
First up, Steam currently offers "Dark Souls III" with a whopping 50 percent discount off its regular price until Saturday, April 8. "Dark Souls III" has maintained a "very positive" overall rating on Steam, with 88 percent of more than 28,000 user reviews favoring the game.
On the game's Steam product page, it has been commended for its "ambitious chapter in the critically-acclaimed and genre-defining series." Players can buy the standard package with just the base game for $29.99 (from $59.99). The Deluxe Edition, which includes the main title and Season Pass that provides access to all expansions, is priced at around $55 or a 35 percent discount from the original price of about $85.

Also offered with a 50 percent price cut this week is Bethesda's "Dishonored 2." The game has gathered a "mostly positive" review in the overall response from Steam players, which means 73 percent of its feedbacks (more than 8,400 as of writing) are positive.
Until Wednesday, April 12, "Dishonored 2" will be priced $29.99 instead of $59.99. The game features the option for gamers to play as either one of the supernatural assassins and protagonists, Empress Emily Kaldwin or her father Corvo Attano.
Lastly, and the one with the biggest discount of them all, the 2012 "Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion" from Ironclad Games and Stardock Entertainment is up for grabs with a 75 percent discount until Saturday, April 8. According to Steam, players will "command a space-faring empire in 'Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion,' the ... stand-alone expansion that combines 4X depth with real-time strategy gameplay."
With the 75 percent discount, this game is now available for only $10 for the base game. Meanwhile, players can also get a 51 percent price cut when they purchase the "Sins of a Solar Empire" Gold Bundle that includes six expansion game titles from 2011 to 2016 for only $41.20 instead of $84.94.
