Steve Jobs Action Figure for Sale?

A Chinese company is looking to cash in on the late Apple genius Steve Jobs’ fame by creating an eerily realistic action figure of the innovative and inspirational technology guru.

The company, In Icons, will be selling the foot-long Steve Jobs action figure for $99. The realistic plastic collectible is set to start shipping in late February, according to the company’s website.

The figure comes with Steve Jobs’ signature rimless glasses, a black turtleneck, jeans, and New Balance sneakers.

The figurine will also come accompanied with two apples, a stool, and a purple backdrop reading the famous phrase the late Jobs would use when unveiling Apple’s revolutionary new products: “One more thing.”

On the company website, which has seen a vast increase in traffic since it was announced that they would be releasing the figurine, In Icons attempts to pay their respects to the late genius.

“Dedicated to the Genius, Great Inventor and Visionary: Steve Jobs,” it says.

However, the action figure may never see shelves, as lawyers for Apple are attempting to thwart the sale of the unauthorized product.

“Mr. Jobs has not consented to the use of his name and/or image in the product,” lawyers for Apple said according to various media reports.

Other Chinese companies have attempted to cash in on the popularity of the late Apple founder who died this past October of pancreatic cancer. This past year, another Chinese company, M.I.C. Gadget, attempted to create a Steve Jobs bobble-head, but Apple ultimately blocked the company from selling the product.
