'Stitchers' Season 1 Episode 5 Spoilers: Kirsten's Latest Victim Affects Her Personally; Is It Really Over Between Her and Cameron?

Freeform's hit sci-fi drama TV series "Stitchers" Season 1 returns this week with a brand new episode that could see the Kirsten (Emma Ishta) and Cameron (Kyle Harris) finally shutting down their budding relationship. Meanwhile, their new case affects Kirsten in a more personal way.

Spoiler alert for those who missed "The Two Deaths of Jamie B," Kirsten was this close to telling Cameron about her true feelings. However, circumstances barred her from doing so. In the end, the two characters have decided to just remain as friends for the time being.

This Tuesday night, there is a big possibility that Kirsten and Cameron might experience some awkwardness with each other's presence. But given the situation that they are about to face, they might be forced to once again work side by side.

As teased in the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the episode titled "Midnight Stitcher," Kirsten will be tasked to stitch into the brain of a deceased woman who happens to have left a mysterious note before she passed away. Her gut tells her that the dead woman's message is somehow tied to her own past and might have something to do with her death.

The stitch will reveal that the victim was actually brainwashed to kill a movie director.

The promo video shows some of the exhilarating scenes that fans should expect in the upcoming episode. It was further divulged that Kirsten will be in grave danger since the woman in question was killed by poisoning.

The clip shows that even after stitching out from the victim, Kirsten still has some difficulty in controlling herself and her emotions.

In fact, she will be acting the same way the victim did when she took the life of the movie director. In the video, she can be seen pointing a gun at Cameron as a bead of tear falls from her eye. Could her dangerous behavior be somehow fueled with the frustrations she felt for her and Cameron?

Find out how these events unfold when "Stitchers" Season 2 airs this Tuesday, Apr. 19 at 8 p.m. on Freeform.
