Wigan Athletic travels to face Stoke City at Britannia Stadium as the club looks to move out of the relegation zone.
For Wigan manager Roberto Martinez and his club, the situation is very desperate as they currently sit in second-to-last place, four points clear of QPR and only one point under the drop zone line.
"What is important is that as a football club were are equipped to deal with three competitions within one season," Martinez said during a press conference.

"It's not about using 12-15 players, it's about using our full squad and allowing the levels of competitiveness to grow with each week, and progression in the FA Cup will help to bring that," he added.
Wigan has not been the worst team in the league, but they have also not played up to expectations either. The club has managed just 19 points from 23 games so far this season and has managed to take full points from only one match in their last 10 games. But a full three points could see them out of the drop zone at least for a few more days.
On a positive note for Wigan, they have played well at the Britannia stadium, having gone seven Premier League matches without losing.
Stoke manager Tony Pulis will be looking to keep his club in a secure position in the middle of the table as they try to progress to perhaps a fourth place finish.
In order to do just that they will have to overcome a recent run of poor play of losing their last three league games and earning only one win in their last five while the Potters have conceded 13 goals over the last four league matches.
