"Stranger Things" is one of Netflix's most successful shows. It amassed fans from all over the globe as it featured young stars in Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Finn Wolfhard, and Caleb Mclaughlin. The phenomenal performance of Winona Ryder has received praise from the critics and fans alike.
Considering the long wait that the fans have had to endure for the second season, Netflix released a game version of "Stranger Things" and sneakily put a clip once players have conquered it.
Given that Netflix is not known for being a game developer, many were surprised to find that the retro-inspired mobile game that they released to promote "Stranger Things" season 2 was quite decent. The news that beating the game reveals a previously unreleased clip from the upcoming season came from Reddit when one user by the name of icecreamboy201 posted the video.
According to reports, the "Stranger Things" season 2 clip from the game features the newest addition to the cast, Sadie Smith. She plays Max, who jumps out to scare the kids in a Mike Meyers outfit. Furthermore, Matarazzo's character, Dustin, is also featured in the clip, as he defends his love for Three Musketeers. He is quickly met with disapproval from his friend, but true to his nature, Dustin says that he still favors the candy bar.
Not much is revealed about the upcoming "Stranger Things" season 2, but fans are hoping to see the same groundbreaking talent and plot that they saw during the first season. "Stranger Things" season 2 is scheduled to be released on Oct. 2.
Meanwhile, fans can download the mobile game of the Netflix original series in hopes of tiding over the wait. More information and teasers are also expected to be released a few weeks before the premiere of the second season.
