'Street Fighter V' Introduces Nash, Necalli, Zangief in New Videos

Capcom has been releasing a series of videos to introduce the fighters in its upcoming title "Street Fighter V," starting with Ken. Now the company has released character introduction videos for Zangief, Necalli, and Nash as well.

Zangief

Zangief's introduction video highlights his raw muscle power. The Red Cyclone who hails from Russia can be seen doing his signature move, the Spinning Pilediver, in the gameplay footage below. Players might also want to learn Zangief's Borscht Dynamite Aircraft attack, which allows him to grab an opponent in the air, hit him, and bring him down headfirst.

Capcom also revealed Zangief's V Skill and Trigger moves. When Zangief's V Skill is triggered, he turns red and his body becomes like an armor that can absorb up to two attacks without getting knocked back. Meanwhile, his V Trigger draws his opponents near and works great when used with his V Skill.

Necalli

Necalli is one of the four new fighters joining the frachise for the first time in "Street Fighter V." His fighting style is animalistic, consisting of barrel slashes and stalks.

Meanwhile, Necalli's V Skill is a long-range attack. By slamming the ground with his fist, Necalli can create mini earthquakes and hit opponents from a distance. His V Trigger move, on the other hand, increases his mobility and overall damage.

Capcom advises beginners or new players to start with Necalli. The character lands some powerful attacks and his damage output is among the highest in the game.

Nash

Fans first met Nash in the "Street Fighter Alpha" series. Now he makes an unexpected return to the franchise.

His V Skill is similar to Zangief's, but instead of direct attacks, Nash can absorb projectiles that in turn increases his V Gauge. His V Trigger is teleportation. By using his V Trigger, Nash can confuse his opponent, extend combos, or escape pressure.

Nash offers players with more normal attack variations than any other fighter. He is also the only one who can steal his opponent's critical gauge.

The "Street Figther V" character introduction video series is narrated by Capcom Community Manager Matt Edwards. Fans can expect more videos to come, as the title launches with 16 playable characters. So far, Capcom has only released four videos.

"Street Figther V" arrives Tuesday, Feb. 16.
