'Street Fighter V': New Capcom Fighters Network's Features Previewed in Ongoing Open Beta
Changes to 'Street Fighter V's' in-game announcer among those included in updated Capcom Fighters Network
The ongoing PC beta for "Street Fighter V" allows players to try out certain things that were not in the game previously, including significant changes to the Capcom Fighters Network.
Developers previously detailed how the CFN has been tweaked, and many of these changes will directly impact players in many ways.
According to a recent post on the Capcom Unity blog, players should find that they will no longer have to wait around as much as they did before just to get into Casual and Ranked Matches.
There was also an adjustment included in the new CFN that cuts down on the instances of two players being paired up too often.
A convenient CFN change also saves the preferred Training Mode settings of players, and this means that they will no longer have to adjust these again the next time they want to practice.
"Street Fighter V's" in-game announcer will also be more helpful as players can now listen to this voice and learn more about their own stats and the ones accumulated by their opponents.
Speaking of stats, the Fighter Profile should display more of these now.
A new report from PVP Live contains some images showing the updated Fighter Profiles, and there are indeed more stats shown such as character-specific winrates.
There is also an interactive timeline that keeps players updated with regards to what their friends are up to inside the game.
PC players can still check out the updated features of the CFN by participating in the beta that will remain live until April 3.
Also, since the CFN itself is also in testing, there is a chance that even more changes may be applied once the beta has wrapped up and ended.
The new CFN features are also expected to be made available for the PlayStation 4 version of "Street Fighter V."
