'Street Fighter V': Zangief and Other Characters Expected to Get New Moves
Upcoming 'Street Fighter V' balance update will add the new character moves
"Street Fighter V" players can expect a new, gameplay-altering update to be released soon and it is expected to affect specific characters quite significantly.
In a previous post on the Capcom Unity blog, it was revealed that certain characters will be getting some new moves courtesy of the upcoming update.
Zangief is one of those characters, and to be more specific, fans of this burly wrestler can expect him to add three more moves to his arsenal.
Once the update is installed, Zangief will be able to use the Flying Head Butt, the Harasho Choke Slam and the Tundra Storm.
A recent report from PVP Live breaks down these moves further and examines how they can be useful inside the game. For example, the Flying Head Butt is one move that can really put opponents in a tough spot, but Zangief users may have a tough time simply landing it.
The Tundra Storm can also be a damaging maneuver, but players will need to find the right opportunity to use it and that may not always present itself.
According to the developers, the new moves for Zangief were added in part to "make him a bit more entertaining."
Two other "Street Fighter V" characters are getting new moves and they are Cammy and Dhalsim.
Cammy's new move is one players can pull off when the two fighters onscreen are in the air, while Dhalsim's additional attack is a normal move.
Moves used by other characters are set to be adjusted as well, and these should help create better balance inside the game moving forward.
An exact release date for when the update containing these new moves and adjustments will be made available to download for "Street Fighter V" has not been announced yet, but developers have indicated that it should go live before the end of this month.
