'Suicide Squad' News: Inside The Joker's Hot Wheels

Fans of Batman's archenemy should rejoice over news that The Joker's ride, as seen in the trailer, can actually be tricked and turned into a million-dollar looking car that is worthy of getting the Dark Knight's nerves on fire.

For the most part, DC has gone to various heights in modifying and working on the Batmobile to look its best for a mega superhero, but this time, it seems the company is looking to raise Jared Leto's Joker to a level that he deserves as he is set to play a "not-so-heroic" role in "Suicide Squad."

In the recent trailer released, Joker's ride was rumored to be a modified Lamborghini and many believed that production really looked forward to loads of cash when the movie releases in exchange of the money dished for Leto's hot ride.

However, it turns out that just anyone who has a knack for modifying autos and has some $60,000 stacked somewhere can actually come up with a car just like The Joker's, which is called a Vaydor.

Matt McEntegart created the kit for the Vaydor sported in the trailer. In an interview with Fox 13 News (via Cosmic Book News), he said the kit was created because he was looking for "something different." While the Batmobile is definitely the right fit for Batman's shady personality, the bright purple modified Vaydor kit car is just the right match for The Joker's spectacular and unique character.

The producers of "Suicide Squad" seemed to have the same idea that McEntegart had when they were looking around for the car that best fits one of this generation's most-adored villains. In the interview, McEntegart shared, "They asked me, 'It's gonna be a villain's car. Do you mind?" With a flashy smile, the kit maker replied, "No! I think that's perfect."

Fans who graced the car-race shoot in Toronto, Canada caught The Joker's wheels on cam during the fancy car scene and spread videos online. With the new "Jokermobile" gracing streets and ready to face off with the Batmobile, it is only reasonable that some auto geeks will try to imitate the mean and steamy car that will debut next summer.

"Suicide Squad" hits the big screens on August 5, 2016.
