'Suicide Squad' wraps up production, Ayer shares prod team photo

With many questions yet to be answered upon the movie's release, "Suicide Squad" has finally concluded production, with director David Ayer sharing a photo of the team on Twitter.

Ayer's photo included over 100 members of the cast and crew, and captioned it, "It's a wrap folks!" The photo has since gained thousands of likes.

While the image is particularly interesting because of its various Killer Crocs and Harley Quinns, according to Inquisitr, it also shows the bond created by filming and the smiling faces of the crew and cast who now have less to do but wait for how people will react to the movie once it comes out on the big screen.

Aside from Ayer's posts, Joel Kinnaman shared a late night bonfire moment with some of the cast on Instagram, followed by Karen Fukuhara's similar photo on her own account, showing the previous night's party aftermath.

With filming part of the cast's past, Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn) shared her experiences with the Suicide Squad team in a recent interview with The Guardian.

"It's pretty intense. It's always bigger than you think it's going to be," she said. "I definitely didn't think it through when I took on the job, but once you're in the midst of it, it's too late to take it back."

Since the set has a "closed" nature, thus keeping audiences away from filming scenes that could spill any of the important plots within the story, Robbie said she was unaware of how fans are greatly supporting the movie.

Robbie said she only gets a "taste" of the fandom when she does some exterior filming on the streets and fans start lining up for autograph signing or picture-taking. She said the sight of fans coming toward her and the rest of the crew reminded her "of how closely people are watching and anticipating it."

With the conclusion of filming, Batman News released a footage snapped by a TV crew in Toronto where Batman and The Joker engaged in an intense car scene, giving fans another teaser to ponder on as they await the release of Suicide Squad on Aug. 5, 2016.
