'Suits' season 5 news, cast, spoilers: Who gave away Mike's big secret?

It's fair to say that the first half of "Suits" season 5 ended frustratingly for a lot of fans, as one of the biggest developments in the show's history just occurred, and that is Mike being apprehended for fraud after his big secret finally came out. Many are asking what will happen to Mike and how will this affect the firm. It has already shown how it affected Harvey as he turned in his resignation, following Mike's arrest.

First things first, everyone wants to know answer to the main question: Who turned in Mike Ross? Harvey and Mike have gone head to head with a lot of people in the past years and the list that aims to bring the power duo down may be too long for anyone to follow. However, right now, there are four people who could be topping that list.

The number 1 suspect among fans is Daniel Hardman. It's no secret that Hardman has it for Pearson Specter Litt since his controversial leave from the firm. Every now and then, he is shown to be working discreetly in setting up problems for Harvey and Mike. He certainly has the resources to find out the truth about Mike. Another person could be Logan Sanders. Sanders is Rachel's ex-boyfriend. Mike has also gone head to head with Logan countless of times in the past season, all because of Rachel, so this could be a ploy to get Rachel away from Mike. Furthermore, suspicions also fall onto Clair Bowden who's had a past romantic connection with Mike and Mike's former best friend Trevor, who is still looking to get something out of Mike's success.

Aaron Korsh, creator of the show, shared with TV details about the developments in this story line saying, "Ultimately, we do find out who it was. I asked our editor who he thought it was and he was surprised when I told him. I don't know if everybody will be. But there's a long list of people who knew and there are certainly plenty of other people who could've found out and handed him in even though we've never seen them know."

He also goes on to explain the decision to have Mike's arrest on the mid-season finale. He goes, "We actually for a change did know that. We didn't know if it was gonna happen in Episode 16 or Episode 10. I think it might've happened at the end of last year that we thought, 'Let's just do it. It's time.'"
