'Suits' Season 5 Spoilers, Plot News: Actor Troian Bellisario Talks About Claire's Return
Someone's big secret is about to get blown up as the fifth season of USA Network's hit legal TV drama series "Suits" continues this week with an episode titled "Mea Culpa."
Spoiler reports indicated that tonight's segment will see "Pretty Little Liars" star Troian Bellisario reprising her role as Claire.
It was revealed that Claire will be the opposing counsel on one of Mike's (Patrick J. Adams) cases. Bellisario, who recently spoke with the publication, teased that her return is "definitely not a good thing" for Mike.
"It's definitely not a good thing, especially for Mike, and then also for Rachel (Meghan Markle)," she told TV Fanatic. "But when we now find Claire she's gone through a huge change in her life. When we first saw her she was working immigration law and she's working her way up the ranks and now we see she's getting a lot of power quickly."
"It's also Mike's first case as a partner and I'm the one he's paired up against so he cannot meet with me because I'm the one person outside of his circle of trust that knows his secret," she added.
Below is the official synopsis for "Mea Culpa" posted right over at The Futon Critic:
"Jessica (Gina Torres) does damage control in the wake of Harvey (Gabriel Macht) punching Louis (Rick Hoffman), just as Jack Soloff (guest star John Pyper-Ferguson) and Daniel Hardman (guest star David Costabile) are looking for weaknesses to exploit. Meanwhile, Donna (Sarah Rafferty) counsels both men on how to rectify their issues. And Mike must find a way to turn down his recently announced promotion without raising suspicion - while he and Rachel combat an opposing attorney who holds the key to uncovering his secret."
"Suits" Season 5 airs Wednesday at 9 p.m. on USA.
