Mike is now a free man and is reunited with Rachel
The previous episode of Suits Season 5 looked like it was already the finale. All the drama and tension the episode had, make viewers now wonder how this week's episode, the actual Season 6 midseason finale, could top that one.
Mike walks out of prison
In the penultimate episode of Suits Season 6 before it goes on a hiatus, Mike (Patrick J. Adams) made a deal with Cameron Dennis (Gary Cole) after Cahill's unfortunate power play that saw their deal fall through. Cameron was able to pull some strings and got not only Mike, but also Kevin (Erik Palladino) released.

Kevin was the first one released and Mike wanted to stay in prison to carry out the last part of his plan. As he had expected, as soon as the lights were out, Gallo (Paul Shulze) snuck in Mike's cell to kill him. He didn't know that a hidden camera was set up and recorded everything. Gallo was taken down by the guards and he will certainly be in prison for a long time because of his murder attempt on Mike.
Mike and Rachel reunite
Harvey then met with Gallo at the prison and offered him a deal. They will not use the video to make his prison stay longer if he in turn promises that he will not come after Mike. Next morning, Mike is released from prison and Harvey was waiting for him right outside.
Harvey told Mike that his plan worked and everything will be alright. And then, Rachel (Meghan Markle) went out of the car and had an emotional reunion with Mike.
Troubles ahead
In the new episode of Suits Season 6, Mike Ross is a free man. But, being free from prison does not mean he is free from troubles ahead. He has to adjust to the life outside and integrate himself back into the scheme of things. His most important adjustment of all is he won't be able to go back to being a lawyer yet.
Possible wedding
What has the fans all excited about his romantic reunion with Rachel is, if she will finally be walking down the aisle when Suits Season 6 returns for its winter premiere.
Adams in a recent interview said that a wedding is totally possible for his character and Rachel. But, just like all the great love stories of the world, the couple has to encounter problems along the way, Adams added. In their case, the main obstacle would be Rachel's parents who are not too fond of their faux lawyer future son-in-law.
Spoilers say that future episodes of Suits Season 6 will show Mike helping Rachel in her first case. This is the same case she has been working on for some time with Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres). It will be Mike's turn to stay in the backseat and let his fiancée have her shining moment.
Law firm in big trouble
A promo video for Suits Season 6 episode 10 was released and it reveals things being shaken up. The law firm of Pearson SpecterLitt tries to build its way back up but, it may soon be out of business if a problem is not fixed quickly. The episode will air on September 14 on the USA Network.
