'Suits' Star Divorces, Finds New Love; Gina Torres Seen Kissing Kevin Wright After Split With Laurence Fishburne

"Suits" star Gina Torres (Jessica Pearson) announced her split from husband of 15 years, Laurence Fishburne ("The Matrix"). The actress clarified that she and her former partner have been separated nearly a year ago amid a photo showing Torres kissing a different man.

The image first appeared on Page Six which identified the man as Utah entrepreneur Kevin Wright. They were seen dining at a cafe in Los Angeles and Torres was reportedly not wearing her wedding ring.

Following the report, Torres issued a statement confirming that she and Fishburne started the process of dissolving their marriage in the fall of 2016. The former couple shares a daughter, Delilah, 10.

"There are no bad guys here," Torres said in her statement. "Only a love story with a different ending than either one of us had expected."

Last fall, Torres announced she was leaving "Suits" after being a series regular for six seasons. She reasoned that her personal life needed attention but she did not elaborate on the state of her marriage. Torres only indicated that the constant travels for work to Canada, where "Suits" films, and then back home to Los Angeles took a toll.

Torres allegedly met Wright in August while spending time at the beach. The two have dated since. Wright is a divorcee himself who separated from his wife of 20 years two years ago. He has six children.

"He's the opposite of a Hollywood guy — he's just cowboy-type, 'I'm going to go ride my horse' type of guy," a source told Page Six.

Meanwhile, Fishburne, who appears in the show "Black-ish," has not addressed the split. Before Torres, he was married to Hajna O. Moss with whom he has two children, son Langston, 30, and daughter Montana, 26.
