Super Bowl 2014 Commercials: Budweiser Puppies, Morpheus and 'Full House' Cast Make Best Ads (WATCH HERE)

The Super Bowl ads for 2014 range from cute to nostalgic this year as companies seek to advertise their products during the most-watched sports event in American history, traditionally. This year, the best contenders like Budweiser, Jaguar and Cheerios found a way to stand head and shoulders above the crowd and make very memorable commercials.

The first Super Bowl XLVIII ads that football fans will remember in 2014 comes from Anheuser-Busch, who definitely scored a touchdown with their "Puppy Love" spot. In the commercial, a cute puppy and a Clydesdale refuse to stay apart, escaping owners and jumping fences just to stay friends, with the slogan #BestBuds shown at the end.

The next two ads come from two underdogs in the luxury car market: Jaguar and Kia. While Jaguar is long established as a luxury brand, they are far less popular than BMW or Mercedes, but that didn't stop them from making a memorable minute-long spot called "Rendezvous."

In the ad, three classic British bad guys are shown: Mark Strong, who played Lord Blackwood in "Sherlock Holmes 2"; Tom Hiddleston, who is Loki of the "Thor" and "Avengers" movies; and Ben Kingsley, who took the role of the Mandarin in "Iron Man 3." The men remark that "in all the Hollywood movies, all the villains are played by Brits" while Strong hops into a sleek F-Type Coupe.

Kia went to Hollywood for inspiration to showcase the Kia K900, their luxury coupe. Lawrence Fishburne reprises his role as Morpheus from "The Matrix," offering a couple that comes to the valet stand "the truth" about luxury vehicles.

"Take the blue key and go back to the luxury you know. Take the red key and you'll never look at luxury the same again," Morpheus explains.

Kia isn't the only one to take advantage of nostalgia: some of the "Full House" cast comes back for Dannon's Oikos Greek yogurt commercial. In it, John Stamos spills some yogurt on himself to seduce a woman, but Bob Saget and Dave Coulier ruin his chances.

Perhaps the most controversial of the commercials came from Cheerios, who again showed their interracial family with a black father, white mother and biracial daughter, Gracie. Their initial commercial in May garnered racist comments along with an outpouring of support, so the General Mills cereal will have its first ever Super Bowl ad since the brand's inception in 1941.
