'Super Mario Maker' Adds Web Portal For Easy Search of Shared Levels

Nintendo is taking the fun of "Super Mario Maker" to a whole new level as reports say that they are adding in a feature that will make searching for shared levels easier. According to VG 24/7, a new web portal will be installed into the game.

There are lots of really fun, clever player-made levels in the game. In fact, Nintendo announced that fans have already made over 3.3 million courses in the game to date. But the problem is that looking for these courses can be a daunting task.

With the help of the web portal, gamers can easily look for new stages that various players have created. It will permit players to find levels through a more detailed search function than the built-in search on the Wii U. The levels can also be filtered based on interest and level type.

IGN detailed that the discoverability solution was presented during the Nintendo Direct wherein the platform holder announced the "Super Mario Maker" portal website. Fans of the game can log-in to the site with their Nintendo IDs and start searching for stages using a series of tags.

Players will be able to tag the levels that they find and like. These tagged levels will be made available on the game's menu on Wii U for easy access to them once the player boots up the game. They can instantly see the stages they tagged and play right away.

Nintendo Life noted that there is a Play Later list that will allow players to set aside games they want to play later on. The service will be made compatible on devices of different sizes so that players can easily access levels anywhere and anytime they like.

The web portal that Nintendo is building for "Super Mario Maker" levels can be accessed online with smartphone, tablet or PC. It will be launched sometime in December.
