'Super Mario Run' Android Cheats, Tips and Tricks

Nintendo fans can finally rejoice that "Super Mario Run" is no longer just for iPhones, and Android owners can play the hit "Super Mario" game as well. "Super Mario Run" is now available on the Google Play Store.

For players already familiar with the iPhone version of the game, the Android version is pretty much the same as the "Super Mario Run" for the iOS — Nintendo has actually made sure that they are identical, according to a report by Michael Simon on Greenbot. The first release of "Super Mario Run" on the Android platform is already bumped up to version 2.0, as confirmed by Google Play Store, meaning Android users will have caught up to the latest iOS version even if it is their first time to download the game from the Google Play Store. This also means that the latest update, which added Yoshis of all sorts of colors as playable characters, are already loaded into the latest Android version of the game.

Among some of the important things to know when playing "Super Mario Run" for the first time, as listed by Tech Radar, is that the game, while free, will only have three levels from world one. It will cost $10 to play the game in its entirety. Also, the game requires internet connection every time a player starts and ends a level, so one is advised to plan for a stable internet and enough battery life before playing the game.

These winged turtles that will take Mario back to an earlier point in the level, wasting the progress that the player has earned up to that point.

One problematic enemy type are ghosts, and the way to get rid of ghosts is to jump backward over them. Blocks that send Mario jumping backward are common in levels with ghosts, and could be used to kill them, especially the ghost with the key.
