Super Smash Bros 4 Characters: Princess Peach Returns to Wii U and 3DS
Earlier today, Nintendo confirmed that long time character Princess Peach will be joining the new Smash Bros game for the Wii U and 3DS.
The leading lady in the Super Mario franchise will be making her return to the game and joining 14 other announced characters.
This is her third time in the series, appearing in all the games except the original in 1999 for the Nintendo 64.Other mainstays to the game include: Mario, Luigi, Link, Samus, Kirby, Fox, Pikachu, Bowser, Donkey Kong, and Pit.

New characters for the game include: the Villager from Animal Crossing, Wii Fit Trainer, Pikmin & Olimar from Pikmin and legendary video game character, Mega Man.
The Mega Man announcement has been met with the joy of gamers everywhere as the "blue bomber" debuted in the '80s when he started out on the NES.
Nintendo showed a quick trailer of Mega Man in action at the E3 conference as he fought game co-stars Link, Kirby, and Mario.
Super Smash Bros has become a Nintendo fan favorite for the company since its first release on the N64, followed by "Super Smash Bros. Melee" on Gamecube and "Super Smash Bros. Brawl" on the Wii.
This will be the first time the series comes to a handheld system.
Nintendo lowered the price of their console, bringing the 32GB Wii U down to $299 after launching at $349 starting Sept. 20.
This holiday season the Wii U is anticipating Nintendo staples including: The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD, Super Mario 3D World and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze.
Third party games on the way are: Call of Duty: Ghosts, Sonic Lost World, and Assasin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
"Obviously we want to drive Wii U momentum," Reggie Fils-Aime, President of Nintendo of America said of the price drop to Kotaku. "We've been very clear that software is what drives hardware. And we feel very good about the line-up of software for Wii U. Taking the added step to improve the value just reinforces our commitment to make sure that Wii U has a strong holiday this year and is set up to be a strong platform into the future."
