The latest Super Smash Bros 4 pics of the day show off some interesting alternate outfits for characters, the Mii Gunner and a slew of other features.

Today's picture, posted by the game's director Masahiro Sakurai, shows off the Mii Gunner in his suit. See it here.

"The Mii Gunner in his suit. Looking sharp! The arm canon's design will change depending on the outfit, but the attacks and projectiles will be the same," he wrote.

Yesterday's picture featured Little Mac from Punch Out wearing his alternate outfit which was a pink sweatshirt. See it here.

"The pink sweatshirt looks really cool on Little Mac, so you can use that outfit in this game … How can a pink sweatshirt look so cool? Looks like some of you noticed that this version of Little Mac wasn't shown at E3. There are many things, like Link's Skyward Sword tunic design I posted earlier, that haven't been revealed yet," continued Sakurai.

The new Smash Bros. games will launch for both the Wii U and 3DS later this year.

Nintendo confirmed to IGN in May that the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros will launch sometime in the summer this year. Wii U fans will have to wait until the winter to get their hands on this epic fighting title.

Sakurai discussed how multiplayer will work in the game with IGN. He stated that players can play online with friends and can also engage in a handful of different multiplayer modes. There will be two distinct forms for multiplayer including "For Fun" and "For Glory."

For Fun only records players wins, and pits opponents against each other in random stages that include all items. For Glory levels the playing field by removing items and setting every match on a Final Destination version of certain levels. Wins and Losses will be tracked in For Glory.
