'Supergirl' Season 1 Episode 10 Spoilers: Martian Manhunter Teaches Supergirl Flying Techniques

In the upcoming episode of "Supergirl," Kara/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) will learn some flying lessons from the Martian Manhunter, as seen on the latest sneak peek released.

According to Entertainment Weekly, J'onn J'onzz, who is assuming DEO's Hank Henshaw's character, will be Supergirl's new flying buddy, and the two were seen practicing flying on air. The website said that the DEO head wants to teach the female superhero some flying techniques, whereas Supergirl thinks it's a fun activity for them.

"How much fun is this?" Kara asked.

"This isn't about fun," Martian Manhunter said. "This is my one chance to train you in proper flight technique," the alien added.

The two zoomed into the sky, and they joined Alex (Chyler Leigh) back on land after. When Kara said that J'onn J'onzz can always be free just like how they were in the air, Hank Henshaw said that he can do better as the DEO leader than being the Martian Manhunter. It seems like Kara would indeed need him in DEO to train her since the website mentioned that Bizarro (Hope Lauren) will come soon, as well as Winn's (Jeremy Jordan) dad, who is known as the villain, Toyman (Henry Czerny).

According to Gossip and Gab, Toyman's arrival is one of the most anticipated scenes on "Supergirl," and fans wonder what the father-and-son reunion will bring. The website noted that CBS initially wanted for Winn to be the Toyman, but decided against it.

The synopsis for the upcoming episode, which is titled "Childish Things," was posted on Spoilers Guide, and it reads, "Kara does her best to support Winn when his father, the supervillain Toyman, breaks out of prison and seeks out his son for unknown reasons. Also, Cat offers Lucy a job at CatCo and Alex asks Hank to use his powers to help uncover Maxwell Lord's plans."

The episode was directed by Jamie Babbit and was written by Anna Musky-Goldwyn and James DeWille.

Watch "Supergirl" season 1 episode 10 tonight, Jan. 18, on CBS.
