'Supergirl' Season 1 Spoilers: Will Bizarro-Girl Be the Next Super Villain in 'Supergirl?'
Andrew Kreisberg, the developer and executive producer of "Supergirl," stayed true to his promise that the show will incorporate Bizarro, and fans got a short glimpse of the character at the end of the last episode, which is titled "Blood Bonds." With a new villain making its way to the series, viewers wonder if "Bizarro-Girl," who is said to be the exact opposite of Kara/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), will be the new super villain of the show.
According to Heroic Hollywood, Kreisberg only said that Bizarro is coming in passing, when he guested on Fatman on Batman, which is a podcast hosted by Kevin Smith. When the news broke, fans have been guessing whether the new villain will be a Bizarro version of Kara's cousin, Clark Kent/Superman, or if it's going to be a female version. The answer finally was revealed in last Monday's episode, just right before the credits rolled in.
According to Zap2It, Maxwell Lord (Peter Facinelli) will bring Kara's new nemesis to life. He's launched a top secret project in his lab, and viewers saw a girl with pitch black eyes being "constructed" by the DC billionaire. Fans all know that Lord is not Supergirl's biggest fan since he fears that she'll abuse her powers.
The website said that Bizarro-Girl will have powers that are polar opposite to that of Kara's. Bizarro-Girl owns "freeze and vacuum breath" and "freeze vision," instead of "flame and super breath" and "heat vision" that Supergirl has. Fans are excited to see if Kara will finally ask her cousin's help, should Bizarro-Girl prove to be a tough villain to defeat.
Meanwhile, Winn's (Jeremy Jordan) dad will be appearing in the next episode of "Supergirl," which is titled "Childish Things," and the episode synopsis reads, "Kara does her best to support Winn when his father, the supervillain Toyman, breaks out of prison and seeks out his son for unknown reasons. Also, Cat offers Lucy a job at CatCo and Alex asks Hank to use his powers to help uncover Maxwell Lord's plans."
Watch "Supergirl" season 1 episode 10 in two weeks, Jan. 18, on CBS.
