'Supergirl' Season 2 Episode 15 Spoilers: Snapper Gets His Wish Granted
Kara (Melissa Benoist) will grant her boss' wish to interview her superhero alter ego in the upcoming episode of "Supergirl."
In the episode titled "Exodus," the synopsis (according to CarterMatt) reveals that Kara needs Snapper (guest star Ian Gomez) to run a story about Cadmus and its secret plan to get rid of aliens on Earth. Jeremiah (Dean Cain) and Lillian's (Brenda Strong) scheme was revealed last episode when Mon-El (Chris Wood) blew the whistle on Kara's father. Snapper will reportedly refuse Kara's request, which will force her to use her trump card. She will agree to arrange an exclusive interview of Supergirl in exchange for his agreeing to release the Cadmus story. Will the newsman accept the deal?
Meanwhile, Alex (Chyler Leigh) is still conflicted on what she will do about Jeremiah. She set him free last episode. When the DEO learns that a number of aliens are being kidnapped, Alex knows she must search for her father and put a stop to the Cadmus plan.
Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg recently told TV Guide that the upcoming episode would test Alex's mettle unlike anything before. She must decide if Jeremiah is a victim or a villain doing Cadmus' dirty work. He also revealed the truth behind Lillian's plans and Jeremiah's part in the whole she-bang. Has he really become a pawn for the organization?
"It's a shimmy on Lillian's desire to rid the Earth of aliens. It's an interesting debate in the next episode between Jeremiah and Alex [about] if his plan is any more humane. And some of the talking points in the episode, I think, are reflective of the current debate in our world about dealing with immigrants, which we were very conscious of and wanted to speak to that," the EP teased, according to TV Guide.
"Supergirl" season 2 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on the CW.
