'Supergirl' Season 2 Spoilers: Teri Hatcher and Kevin Sorbo Debut Their New Roles in Episode 16

Newly added actors Teri Hatcher and Kevin Sorbo will soon debut in their mysterious roles after being spotted in the preview of "Supergirl" season 2's 16th episode.

Earlier this year, it has been announced that Hatcher and Sorbo would play important roles in "Supergirl." There have been little details given about their characters until the sneak peek for the upcoming "Star-Crossed" episode was shown.

The "Star-Crossed" sneak peek might have confirmed previous reports that Hatcher and Sorbo are going to portray the newest bad guys to challenge Supergirl (Melissa Benoist).

While the preview did not mention any specific details, some reports already assume that they might really be the heads of the Daxam royalty which means Mon-El (Chris Wood) is soon going to be reunited with his family.

While the theory naturally needs confirmation, it can be recalled that Sorbo earlier hinted that their roles originated from an "arch-rival planet of Krypton" and that Hatcher will play his wife.

Added to that, showrunner Andrew Kreisberg reportedly teased recently, "She is so not playing Lois, and she is so not playing any character I've ever seen her play before. She's so not Susan from Desperate Housewives. She's really playing something completely different that was in her repertoire of all the things she's ever done."

Hatcher once starred as Lois Lane in "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" back in the '90s. On the other hand, Sorbo is famous for his role in "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys."

While Sorbo has earlier revealed that he will be in the show for just three episodes, it might not be the same for Hatcher if rumors are true that she will be one of the key villains in "Supergirl" this season.

"Supergirl" will take a one week break and will air its "Star-Crossed" episode on Monday, March 20, at 8 p.m. EDT at The CW.
