'Supernatural' Season 11 Spoilers: What Will the Midseason Premiere Bring?
"Supernatural" has been on break since Dec. 9 last year, and fans wonder what the show will bring next when it returns with its midseason premiere in just over a week from now.
According to Melty, Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino) may have everyone in a festive Christmas illusion, and is most likely out of the cage. In the trailer posted on the website, Crowley (Mark A. Sheppard) was seen on his pajamas on Christmas Day opening gifts, and even Rowena (Ruth Connell) was seen on the dream-like sequence. Santa, who is actually Lucifer dressed up as the Christmas symbolic character, came and said, "Merry Christmas" at the end of the clip.
The website said that fans should not be fooled by the "festive" promo of the upcoming midseason premiere since Lucifer will most likely either control the minds of everyone in the cage, or will manage to get a deal with Sam (Jared Padalecki) to get him out of the confines of it.
The report also noted a part of the short clip where Castiel (Misha Collins) was seen with words carved on his chest, saying, "I am coming," and fans wonder who might be "coming." The website said it might be Amara (Emily Swallow), but another theory from the article said that it is actually God that is coming. With a lot of theories that the website came up, fans wonder what exactly will happen next to the Winchester brothers.
The synopsis of the next episode, which is titled "The Devil in the Details," was posted on the Futon Critic, and it reads, "Lucifer makes Sam an offer. Now that he has Sam (Jared Padalecki) in the cage with him, Lucifer (guest star Mark Pellegrino) offers Sam a way out but it comes with a steep price. Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Castiel (Misha Collins) look into the angel smiting that could have killed Amara (guest star Emily Swallow)."
"Supernatural" season 11 episode 10 was written by Andrew Dabb and was directed by Thomas J. Wright.
Catch the new episode of "Supernatural" on Jan. 20, Wednesday, on The CW network.
