'Supernatural' Season 12 Episode 14: Mary Joins Hands With Men of Letters
Mary (Samantha Smith) will be caught fraternizing with the enemy in the upcoming episode of "Supernatural."
In the episode titled "The Raid," the synopsis (according to TV Guide) reveals that Mary will team up with the British Men of Letters to eliminate a whole coven of vampires. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean's (Jensen Ackles) mother has decided to work with the group of hunters. She has her A-game back and is ready to continue the noble work she started before the yellow-eyed demon killed her many years ago. Her sons do not approve of her choice of allies, though.
The MOLs have an ulterior motive for helping Mary. They want both Sam and Dean to be part of their secret society. The brothers have already expressed their thoughts on the matter. They do not have any plans of becoming hunters for the Brits. The two do not trust the group. They think that if worse comes to worst, the MOLs will ditch Mary.

The boys' suspicions will be tested when Mary and the MOL members come face to face with the alpha vampire of the coven they are hunting. The hunters have become the hunted. If they do not get out of there quickly, they will become food for the hungry undead.
Since episode 9, Mary has fully adjusted to her second life on Earth. While she does not like the fact that her sons followed her footsteps to become hunters, she respects their choice. Sam and Dean are happy that their mother is back to her old self.
Showrunner Andrew Dabb previously told Entertainment Weekly that viewers would see more of Mary in action in the upcoming episodes.
"She's got the lay of the land. She understands the world a little bit more. She understands her sons a little bit more. ... She becomes a much more proactive character in our world. She's not going to be necessarily living in the bunker with Sam and Dean but she's going to be more of a player in our show," Dabb said.
"Supernatural" season 12 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on the CW.
