'Supernatural' Season 13 Spoilers: Sam and Dean Get Help From Billie; Castiel Reunites With the Winchesters
The upcoming episode of "Supernatural" season 13 will see the Winchester boys getting help from Billie (guest star Lisa Berry).
The synopsis of the next episode, titled "Advanced Thanatology," states that Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) will be working together on a case that involves the ghost of a deranged doctor. However, they will be surprised to get help from Billie.
Billie was last seen in season 12, and her reappearance will certainly be shocking, especially because Castiel (Misha Collins) supposedly killed her with an angel blade in order to save the Winchesters. It remains to be seen how Billie will return and come in contact with the boys again, but it will definitely be interesting to see them interacting once more.
As for Castiel, the synopsis reveals that he will finally be reuniting with the Winchesters after a long time apart. The fan-favorite character was thought to have died last season, but the previous episode saw him being transported back to Earth after waking up in The Empty, the place where angels and demons go after they perish.
A teaser trailer for the new episode has also been released. It opens with rapid shots of a car before showing Sam and Dean in a kitchen. Sam thinks it is about time that they work together on a case again, just them as brothers. They introduce themselves to a girl as Agents Paige and Plant from the FBI. They then conclude that they are dealing with a ghost, as quick shots show just how demented the dead doctor is.
In the previous episode, titled "The Big Empty," fans saw how Sam and Dean took Jack (Alexander Calvert) on a case with them, one that involved a shapeshifter killing people while pretending to be their dead relative. The move proved to be beneficial as Jack saved Sam from being killed by deflecting a bullet, proving that Lucifer's (Mark Pellegrino) son does have good in him.
"Supernatural" season 13 airs Thursdays, at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
