'Superstore' Season 3 Spoilers, Cast News: Glenn's Wife Will Finally Appear

The wife of Glenn Sturgis (Mark McKinney) is coming to "Superstore" this season. He's mentioned her quite a few times on the show and viewers will finally be able to put a face on the name.

Kerri Kenney has been tapped to play Jerusha Sturgis in the ninth episode of "Superstore" season 3 and it looks like it won't be a one-time appearance. Kenney's previous roles include playing Deputy Trudy Wiegel on "Reno 911." She also appeared on "Casual" and "2 Broke Girls."

The Sturgis have been married for a long time and they have 11 foster kids. Some of these kids appeared in one episode of the second season of "Superstore." One of them ended up dating Glenn's employee Jonah (Ben Feldman).

Speaking of Jonah, the next episode airing this Thursday will find him walking in on an attempted robbery at his workplace. Jonah will try to stop the bad guy, but talking a robber out of it will not work. It's a good thing Dina (Lauren Ash) will arrive for work just in time to chase after the perpetrator.

"Superstore" season 3 is also gearing up for a special Halloween episode that executive producer and show creator Justin Spitzer described as "crazy-dark." America Ferrera (Amy) said her costume this season got her quite excited. Lauren Ash, however, will repeat the costume she wore for Halloween last season.

Theshow was NBC's second-highest rated comedy for 2016, which was why it earned a third season renewal for 22 episodes. The show currently averages 4.4 million in viewership since season 3 started in September. It is a few hundreds higher than last season's airing.

"Superstore" is a workplace comedy featuring a group of misfits from Cloud 9, a supermarket chain. The show also stars Colton Dunn (Garrett), Nico Santos (Mateo) and Nichole Bloom (Cheyenne).

The NBC series airs Thursday nights at 8:00 EST on NBC.
