'Survivor: Blood vs. Water San Juan del Sur' News: Episode 3 'Actions vs. Accusations' Recap
An all new episode of "Survivor" featured a father pitted against his son in the Rewards Challenge.
On Oct. 8, the third episode of season 29 titled "Actions vs. Accusations" saw Josh telling John that he was the one that flipped his vote and he thinks that John has something to do with the vote flipping as well.
At Hunahpu Tribe, Drew tells his teammates that a monsoon is coming and that they need to reinforce the roof. The tribe starts working, but Drew thinks that he's not a weaver and that his skill can be put to better use, so he takes a nap. Natalie prods him with a palm frond and calls him out on his laziness, and Drew becomes belligerent. Jeremy then tells Natalie that he won't win.
When both tribes get to the hero arena, Jeremy discovers that his wife has been voted out. John apologizes to Jeremy for being unable to take care of his wife for him as he had promised him earlier.
For the reward challenge, Tribe Coyopa won rock-paper-scissors to choose who among them will compete. Wes volunteered as he thought that he could beat his father Keith. Though they were initially neck and neck in the game, Wes ultimately beat his father. Keith was emotional and said that he's proud of his son. Host Jeff Probst asked Wes if his father was always this emotional, and he said that he has never "seen him like this" as he gets teary eyed as well. Keith was sent back to Exile Island along with Josh.
Back at Hunahpu, Jeremy says John told him that he would take care of his wife. He tells the others that he knows who John Rocker really is. He said that John used to pitch for the Atlanta Braves and that he got in trouble for saying racist and homophobic things. In the end, John gets voted out.
"Survivor: Blood vs. Water San Juan del Sur" airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
