'Survivor' Season 34: Will Ozzy Lusth Be Next to Go in 'What Happened on Exile, Stays on Exile'?
How does one make a "Survivor" season rife with game changers consistently interesting? By constantly changing the game itself, and thus upping the stakes at each turn, the Jeff Probst-hosted competitive reality television series still manages to intrigue and shock its audiences even in its 34th season.
Who would've thought that after joining "Survivor" twice and winning both times, the now 42-year-old Sandra Diaz-Twine has finally tasted her first defeat on her third time in the game?
In this week's episode of "Survivor: Game Changers," Jeff finally got to snuff out Sandra's torch. There is no doubt that the self-proclaimed queen of the island has played her most impressively aggressive game yet, but it still could not hold sway in a season consisting of some of the most aggressive players in "Survivor" history.
"Sandra played aggressively, but I think you have to this season," Jeff said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "Everybody is playing hard. Much harder than any other season and we're still early on!"
Indeed, Sandra is only one part of an All-Star ensemble, and more big players, who have also been branded as big threats, are set to follow her path as "Survivor: Game Changers" continues.
In the promo for the next episode titled "What Happened on Exile, Stays on Exile," Ozzy Lusth's tribemates at Nuku are seen plotting to vote him out, while the Mana tribe seems to have reached their breaking point.
Who goes home next? Can Ozzy make his own bold move to turn the tides to his advantage? Also, how will the advantage that Debbie Wanner got from former castaway John Cochran in Exile Island play into the game? Will she tell anyone about it? More importantly, will she be able to actually bring it into play when right moment comes?
The next episode of "Survivor: Game Changers" airs on Wednesday, April 12 at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
