At the moment, Swansea are sixth in the league and they have yet to lose a game in the EPL.

Their most impressive performance as of three games is in their openers when they travelled to Stamford Bridge to play the defending champions Chelsea.

Facing big odds and a difference in talent on paper, the Swans still continued to fight every minute until they got a well-deserved point out of their encounter.

In their next game, Swansea opened their home season with a 2-0 defeat of Newcastle United.

Bafetimbi Gomis scored in the ninth minute to give the Swans the lead and Andre Ayew doubled it in the second half to give their fans something to cheer about in their first outing as hosts.

In their third game, Swansea also looked poised to beat Sunderland as Gomis scored again in the first half but maximum points were denied as Jermain Defoe's goal in the 62nd minute meant they shared points at the Stadium of Light.

They would make a good statement with a win over the Red Devils, overtaking them in the standings as well.

As for the Red Devils, the season of optimism continues as they are looking poised to challenge in the top four even at the early stages of the season.

Heading into the game week, they are fourth in the league, and are only behind leaders Manchester City by two points as the Red Devils have secured seven.

Manchester United beat Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa, while settling for a draw against Newcastle United.

The Red Devils defence has yet to concede a goal in the league and Wayne Rooney recently broke his goal drought in a UEFA Champions League game against Club Brugge where he scored a hat-trick.
