'Switched at Birth' Season 5 Episode 4 Spoilers: Travis and Bay Fight Over Emmett
Emmett (Sean Berdy) will once again come between Travis (Ryan Lane) and Bay (Vanessa Marano) in the upcoming episode of "Switched at Birth."
In the episode titled "Relation of Lines and Colors," the synopsis (according to TV Guide) reveals that Bay will helping her ex-boyfriend with a school project and Travis will not like it one bit. Currently, Emmett is attending the USC School of Cinematic Arts. He does not come home that frequently, but he still keeps in touch with Bay. Last episode, Emmett was at his house when she checked on him, so he invited her to come. After a short debate, Bay decided to meet up with him.
Travis will definitely not like Bay reconnecting with her ex, as he can feel that both still have feelings for each other. Bay previously agreed to start dating Travis while she was in China. They even talked about moving in together. However, Bay and Daphne (Katie Leclerc) returned to Kansas City because of Emmett. He attempted to overdose on anti-depressants. Emmett then told Bay he made a mistake in letting her go. He wanted her back, but it was too late. Bay is with Travis now and he is prepared to fight for her.
Although Bay is aware of Travis' jealousy, she cannot help but worry about Emmett. She was shocked when she heard what happened to him. Bay thought he was having the time of his life at USC. Learning that he has been battling depression woke something up deep in her.
Executive producer Lizzy Weiss recently told TVLine that Bay would have to face what she truly feels sooner or later.
"She's going to have to figure out: Is Travis The One? Did she catch up to his feelings in the time away, or did the time away make her realize that Emmett is and always will be The One? That is something that we do play with a little bit, because they are surrogate brothers, and it's a really interesting, complex dynamic. They both have feelings for her," the EP said, according to the media outlet.
"Switched at Birth" season 5 episode 4 will air Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 9 p.m. EST on Freeform.
