'Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization' DLC News: Bandai Namco Details 'Warriors of the Sky' Update
Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a trailer for "Warriors of the Sky," the largest free update for "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" yet.
The downloadable content (DLC) will feature Seven and Rain from "Sword Art Online: Lost Song" in the brand-new stage called the Stalvatos Ruins. There, they will offer assistance in Kirito's latest mission.
The new area will not only allow "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" players to go up to level 80, but will also introduce a new Duel System in which they can do one-on-one battles against players and monsters in the player versus player (PVP) mode.
This new Duel System from "Warriors of the Sky" will also offer the chance to earn buffs, treasures and other exciting rewards for those who emerge victors in the battles.
The free "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" DLC will also open the doors to all eight dungeons of the Sacrament Dungeon 3. Additionally, it gives players the ability to co-sleep with Premiere and copy Skill Palettes.
Thanks to the "Warriors of the Sky" update, the usage frequency of EX skills for nonplayable characters is made configurable and the Emotional Void gets an additional tutorial screen.
It also improves the partner artificial intelligence (AI), adds new art assets for the gallery and tones down the difficulty of the final battle in "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization."
Making "Warriors of the Sky" the biggest free update yet for the game is the fact that it also adds a tweak that allows gamers to switch to online play during gameplay, in which the item drop rate has been changed too.
It also adjusts the overall EXP system while allowing users to exclude locker rooms from the search, but still enjoy a boost in the definable attack and defense caps.
"Warriors of the Sky" for "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" will be released on Tuesday, March 14, along with two other free DLCs, namely "Lord of Inferno" and "Missing Chest."
The former sort of serves as the follow-up to the "Warriors of the Sky" update as "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" players will meet there a Stalvatos Ruins raid boss after completing the first update.
The "Missing Chest" DLC, on the other hand, will add gold items as rewards in a Teleport Plaza treasure chest.
