Roman, 43, has been vocal about not being happy with her portrayal on the show, as the woman who continually perpetuates negativity. The reality television star, entrepreneur and new "Tiny Tonight" talk show host defended herself on a recent YouTube video blog.

"I don't care about this Basketball Wives stuff and creating drama and having to just defend myself and speak up for myself week after week. I'm dealing with real stuff," said Roman, who recently lost her mother. "So if people want to continue being shady and make Tami the scapegoat… I got it. But don't try to make me the heavy week after week because y'all know what I was dealing with in my life."

Roman previously admitted that her past aggressive behavior on the show may have been influenced by trying to maintain a character for entertainment purposes.

"I think my approach to this season was to basically learn how to talk with the ladies and be more of a voice rather than a fist. It's not that Tami didn't know how to articulate," Roman told VH1 last month. "It's not that Tami doesn't know how to interact with people. But I chose to only use one dynamic of myself. You know, I am very articulate, I am educated."

Shaunie O'Neal, executive producer of "Basketball Wives," seems to be at odds with Roman during season five of the show. Still, the executive producer said the show needs the controversial cast member.

"Well, Tami's personality is …it's incredible. You love her, hate her, whatever," O'Neal told S2S Magazine recently. "You can't live without some part of Tami on 'Basketball Wives.' She just brings so much to the show… There's still something about her that drives you to watching."
