Taylor Swift Announces Own Social Media App The Swift Life

Taylor Swift is introducing a brand-new way to bring together legions of her fans in one convenient place. This is through her very own social media app called The Swift Life.

The Grammy winner has teamed up with the mobile game developer and publisher Glu for the "new digital entertainment project," which was described in the press release as the singer's own "creative vision." Per the official description:

The Swift Life provides a creative, inclusive and community-driven place for users to better connect with each other ... and Taylor!

Glu president and CEO Nick Earl said that they worked closely with the "Look What You Made Me Do" singer and her team in order to successfully get it off the ground and design The Swift Life the way she imagined it to be:

The result is a deeply social environment where Taylor and her fans are able to better connect with one another while expressing themselves in an interactive community. We look forward to its worldwide launch later this year.

On The Swift Life, the Swifties will be able to connect with their idol, who will be on the app as well to share exclusive videos and photos to them.

The app will also allow users to post and share stuff with friends and their fellow Swift fans so that they can gush about the artist together. The "Ready for It" singer will also be able to see, like and even comment on these posts.

The Swift Life will also feature stickers and "Taymojis" so that fans can express their feelings accurately and in a way a Swiftie would only know how. Finally, new songs will be added on the app every week and users can chat there too.

Swift hopes that fans will like The Swift Life, which will be released later this year.
