Taylor Swift, J.Lo Collaborate on New Song? Pair 'Excited'

Taylor Swift and J.Lo, real name Jennifer Lopez, will reportedly collaborate on a new song that is set to appear on the Latin singer's upcoming eighth studio album.

The unlikely duo, who came together for the first time ever in August at Swift's Red Tour show in Los Angeles, will reportedly collaborate in the studio to record their highly anticipated duet. Swift, 23, is renowned for her country-music/pop based love songs while J.Lo, 44, is known for her hip hop and dance based tracks.

"Both of them are huge fans of each other and excited to work together!" a source told Us magazine.

Swift took to Twitter shortly after J.Lo made a surprise appearance on stage during her L.A. Tour on August 25.

"Sang Jenny From the Block with @JLo tonight at Staples Center. STILL FANGIRLING OUT ABOUT IT," Swift tweeted after the show to which J.Lo replied: "@taylorswift13 had so much fun with you tonight!!! #RedTourLA #jennyfromtheblock #hairbrushsongs."

In a behind-the-scenes look at Swift's tour, footage (below) shows the pop stars in a huddle where the "On The Floor" singer thanks Swift for the opportunity, according to MTV UK.

"Thank you so much for allowing our family to come and be a part of your family. To create a beautiful moment, thank you, Taylor, for being so gracious and beautiful and loving me enough to have me be here tonight," J.Lo said.

"I feel very blessed to be able to share the stage with you, and I just hope that everybody has the best show that they could ever have," she added.

J.Lo, who became a judge on season 10 of "American Idol," left after season 11 however the mother-of-two is expected to return in season 13. The actress will work alongside fellow judges Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr.

The singer is yet to confirm her upcoming album release date.
